Booking conditions and Terms for Beechwood Apartment & Aalid Feie "The property"

1. General

Guests undertake to keep the property and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and also undertake to leave the premises in a reasonable state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. The property should be compensated for any damage and breakages that may occur (fair wear and tear excepted).

2. Bookings

Subject to availability of the property requested, bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. The property may only be used by the persons named on the booking form. The number in the party must not exceed that which was booked.

3. Payment

A deposit of 20% of the total rental is required to secure a booking. The balance is due at least eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday plus £100 security deposit. The full cost of the holiday is payable on any booking made within eight weeks of the date booked. The security deposit will ordinarily be refunded within 7 days of your departure.

4. Cancellation

If the guest finds it necessary to cancel the holiday before the final balance is due he should inform Us immediately and We will then endeavour to re - let the property. If the property is re - let the deposit will be retumed less an administration fee of £50 per week. In the event that the property is not re - let then, unfortunately, all monies paid are forfeit and the person booking the holiday will be liable for the full cost of the booking. If the guest finds it necessary to cancel the holiday after the final balance becomes due, whether or not the final balance has been paid, then unless the property is re-let the guest will be liable for the full cost of the holiday. We strongly advise that you take out holiday insurance against cancellation.It is therefore strongly recommended that all visitors to the Isle of Man ensure that they have appropriate insurance in place which will cover any treatment costs and repatriation to the UK by air ambulance if that should prove necessary.

5. Arrival/Departure

Guests are requested to arrive at the property after 3.00pm on the day of arrival and, to assist us in ensuring the villa is ready for arrival of new guests, depart before 10.00am on the day of departure.

7. Smoking

For the benefit of non - smokers and preservation of the decor, smoking is strictly not allowed inside the property. Deposit will be forfeit if evidence of smoking is found.

8. Complaints

We try to do everything possible to create an environment for an enjoyable holiday but occasionally things can go wrong. Please make any complaint during occupation of the property and We will do what we can to resolve the matter. It is regretted that no correspondence can be entered into in the case of complaint upon departure of after your return home, when it will surely be appreciated that it is quite impossible for the problems to be effectively investigated or corrected.

9. Liability

The proprietors do not accept liability for loss or damage to personal property brought to the property, however caused. The proprietors do not accept liability for any personal injury sustained by guests or visitors in the property, however caused.

10. Utilities - Aalid Feie is hired inclusive of all utilities.

Aalin Thie Apartments - each apartment is credited with 20 KWhrs per day which is easily sufficient for ordinary use for two persons. (25 KWhrs for 3-4).Additional £5 meter cards are supplied and if used the additional amount will be deducted from the deposit/bond.

11. Bank charges

Additional costs for credit card payments will be the responsibility of the payee/ tennant. Charges are amount to 3.5% of the rental. We can accept cheques or online banking transfers free of charge.

12. Health Insurance

The Isle of Man Health Service is not part of the UK NHS and, except for immediately necessary and emergency treatment which does not require admission to hospital, visitors to the Isle of Man (including UK residents) who require treatment will be expected to pay for it. It is therefore strongly recommended that all visitors to the Isle of Man ensure that they have appropriate insurance in place which will cover any treatment costs and repatriation to the UK by air ambulance if that should prove necessary. cover costs £1 per day to the age of 80 years.
