Travel & Car hire

The island is easy to reach from all areas of the United Kingdom and further afield.  The entry points are either via Douglas Sea terminal or Ronaldsway Airport.

There are regular sailings to the Island from the UK ports of Heysham and Liverpool operated by the Steampacket company.  Liverpool has available a faster Seacat service with sailing times of approximately 2 1/2 hours.

Various airways operate to the Island.  The principal carrier is British Airways which recently took over Manx Airlines and there are regular flights from all of the UK's major regional airports.
